MILWAUKEE, WI — A 21-year-old man died Tuesday evening after being struck by multiple vehicles in northwest Milwaukee, according to TMJ4.
The Milwaukee Police Department said the fatal incident occurred at the corner of North 99th Street and West Calumet Road, in the Calumet Farms area. It was first reported at about 7:45 p.m.
A preliminary investigation indicates the young man was running westbound into the road at the same time a 75-year-old man was driving northbound on 99th Street.That vehicle collided with the pedestrian, and moments later, another northbound vehicle behind the first car also hit the victim. A third vehicle traveling behind the first two vehicles also struck the victim and then fled the scene.
The male pedestrian died from his injuries at the scene, confirmed officials.
The first driver and the driver of the second vehicle, a 21-year-old woman, both remained at the site and cooperated with responding officers.
At this time, no charges have been reported and no other details have been shared.
