MILWAUKEE, WI — A 54-year-old man had to be extricated early Wednesday after a rollover crash involving a stolen vehicle in northwest Milwaukee, reports FOX 6 Milwaukee.
Milwaukee Police said officers began pursuing the male driver, a suspect in an armed robbery, near 28th and Fond du Lac at about 1:20 a.m.
As the fleeing driver reached North 15th Street and West Lloyd Street in the Triangle North area, he lost control of the vehicle. Moments later, it struck a curb and overturned.
First responders had to perform a rescue extrication on the driver, who was then transported to an area hospital.
No other information has been disclosed at this time, but authorities later learned the vehicle had been reported stolen out of West Allis.
