MILWAUKEE COUNTY, WI — A 37-year-old woman crashed her vehicle into the BelAir Cantina restaurant Wednesday morning while suffering a medical emergency in Oak Creek, reports WISN.
The incident occurred at 410 West Town Square Way, north of Drexel Town Square, at about 9:30 a.m.
According to Oak Creek Police the woman’s car continued into the business’ dining section after crashing into the building.
Authorities were seen stabilizing the structure before removing the female driver, who appeared to be alert and sitting up following the wreck. She received treatment from first responders and was later released from the scene.
The building was not occupied by restaurant employees or customers at the time, and no other injuries were reported.
