WAUKESHA COUNTY, WI — Property damage was reported Tuesday afternoon after an SUV drove into the front of a building housing the Friends with Food nonprofit in Waukesha, according to WISN.
Officials said the crash happened off of North Grandview Boulevard.
The circumstances behind the wreck were unclear, but the vehicle appeared to have jumped a beam before colliding with the building. The impact of the crash shattered the front window, leaving pieces of glass strewn throughout the space. Multiple shopping carts were damaged and several food items were reported ruined in the incident.
The founder of the nonprofit said the building was unoccupied at the time of the accident, and no one was injured.
At this time, no details on the driver have been released, and no pending charges have been reported.
