RACINE COUNTY, WI — One person died early Thursday following a crash on Interstate 94 in west Mount Pleasant, according to WISN.
The Racine County Sheriff’s Office said the fatal accident occurred on the northbound lanes at Exit 33 to Wisconsin Highway 20.
Details are limited at this time, but authorities confirmed one person was pronounced deceased after the wreck.
All northbound lanes were shut down for multiple hours but were reported reopened by WISN at about 7:25 a.m.
As of this writing, it remains unclear what caused the accident and how many vehicles were involved.
