MILWAUKEE, WI — A semi-truck overturned in a crash Tuesday afternoon on Interstate 794 near downtown Milwaukee’s East Town neighborhood, according to TMJ4.
The wreck occurred on the I-794 southbound ramp at the Lake Interchange, just after 12:00 p.m.
It was unclear what caused the accident, but a semi-truck carrying a load of wooden pallets rolled over.
The driver of the semi sustained minor injuries, but authorities did not say whether the patient was transported to a hospital.
The Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene where the ramp was expected to be closed for an extended time. Motorists were forced to take the Van Buren Street exit as crews worked to remove the semi.
