MILWAUKEE, WI — A 30-year-old man died Monday morning after a single-vehicle accident in northwest Milwaukee’s Midtown neighborhood, according to TMJ4.
The collision took place near the corner of North 27th Street and West Vliet Street, just north of James Groppi High School, at about 9:23 a.m.
Few details have been provided at this time, but the Milwaukee Police Department said the man was driving when he lost control of his vehicle. Moments later, the car collided with a tree and the median.
An investigation was underway, but authorities have determined speed was a factor in the fatal wreck.
