MILWAUKEE, WI — A 31-year-old man was arrested Tuesday night after a police pursuit ended with a crash in north Milwaukee, according to FOX 6 Milwaukee.
The collision occurred near the corner of North 1st Street and Concordia Avenue, in the city’s Harambee neighborhood.
Milwaukee Police said officers began following the man after he drove away near 6th and Walnut. The chase was terminated when the male driver later crashed his vehicle into a parked car.
The suspect, who attempted to flee the scene on foot, was quickly apprehended by police. Medics arrived on the scene as a precautionary measure, but no one was reported injured. Authorities noted no one was in the parked car at the time of the wreck.
It is unclear what charges the suspect will facing, but the MPD said officers recovered a firearm and “suspected drugs.”
