MILWAUKEE, WI — A vehicle wreck early Thursday shut down an Interstate 41 exit ramp at the Milwaukee Interchange in Milwaukee’s south side, according to TTWN Milwaukee.
The accident happened on the northbound interstate at Exit 316, near The Gateway to Milwaukee. It was first reported by TTWN at 2:50 a.m.

Authorities have not provided details regarding the cause of the crash, but the entire ramp was blocked in the immediate aftermath. About 10 minutes later, the scene appeared to have been moved to the left lane of the ramp, opening adjacent lanes.
