WASHINGTON COUNTY, WI — Emergency crews had to extricate one person last Friday after a two-vehicle wreck on Wisconsin Highway 164 in Slinger, reports We Are Green Bay.
The accident occurred on a span of highway over Sherman Road. Crews with the Slinger Fire Department responded to the scene shortly after 1:50 p.m.
It was unclear what led up to the collision, but firefighters worked to stabilize one vehicle in order to remove one person who was left trapped. That patient was later evaluated by EMS personnel, but it remains unclear exactly how many people were injured and how badly.
A section of the highway between Foxboro Lane and County Trunk E was blocked due to the emergency response and icy conditions in the area.
