MILWAUKEE, WI — Ten children were aboard a school bus that was involved in a crash Tuesday morning in northwest Milwaukee, reports FOX 6 Milwaukee.

The collision occurred near North 52nd Street and West Chambers Street, outside Ascension Hospital in the St. Joseph’s area. It was reported at around 6:19 a.m.

According to Milwaukee Police, a 43-year-old man was driving one vehicle northbound on 52nd Street when he failed to stop at a stop sign. Moments later, that vehicle collided with a second vehicle that was heading eastbound on Chambers Street and driven by another 43-year-old man.

Neither driver was reported hurt, and no injuries were reported among the ten juvenile passengers, all between ages 5 and 14.

Authorities did not clarify whether the school bus was the first or second vehicle, but the driver of the first vehicle received a citation.
