MILWAUKEE, WI — A rollover crash involving a semi-truck was reported Monday morning on Interstate 43/94 near Milwaukee’s Walker’s Point area, reports TMJ4.
The Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office said the wreck occurred on the ramp from West National Avenue. It was first reported shortly before 10:54 a.m.
No cause of accident has been disclosed at this time, but authorities said the semi was hauling “a full load of scrap metal” when it overturned. An extended clearance time was expected due to the volume of spilled material.
Footage captured by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation shows the semi at rest on its side.
