MILWAUKEE COUNTY, WI — A vehicle crashed Wednesday morning on Interstate 43 near Fox Point after being struck by gunfire, according to WISN.
The incident occurred on the southbound lanes between West Brown Deer Road and Good Hope Road. It was first reported by the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office at about 8:08 a.m.
Few details have been released at this time, but authorities said alleged road rage event led to gunfire, causing a single vehicle to crash.
No one has been reported hurt, but the MCSO did not say whether the road rage suspect was located following the incident.
All southbound lanes of I-43 from Mequon Road were shut down for around an hour during the response and reopened at 8:30 a.m.
