MILWAUKEE, WI — A bicyclist was hit by a vehicle Monday afternoon in the Brewer’s Hill neighborhood near downtown Milwaukee, reports WISN.
The incident occurred in the area of West North Avenue and North 2nd Street at around 2:15 p.m.
Milwaukee Police said one person was riding a bicycle when they were struck by a driver in a white 2007 to 2012 Nissan Altima which fled the scene.
The vehicle is described as having a dark window tint and missing a front license plate. In addition to old crash damage along the front driver’s side quarter panel, it may have also sustained damage to the hood or passenger side in the recent crash.
Authorities said the hit-and-run vehicle was last seen heading eastbound on West North Avenue and may have then traveled south on a connecting street.
At this time, no information regarding the condition of the cyclist has been disclosed.
