MILWAUKEE, WI — A vehicle wreck Thursday night closed a right lane on Interstate 43 near Marquette University in west Milwaukee, according to 511 Wisconsin.
Officials said the crash happened on the southbound lanes of I-43 to I-94/794 westbound. It was first reported shortly before 9:27 p.m.
The circumstances behind the collision were not immediately clear, but the lane stayed closed for nearly 40 minutes.

By 10:06 p.m., crews had cleared the accident and all lanes were reopened to normal traffic.
