MILWAUKEE, WI — An 80-year-old West Allis man has died following a serious accident last Thursday involving a loose wheel in west Milwaukee, according to the Milwaukee Police Department.
The incident occurred in the 200 block of South 84th Street, near the Interstate 94 overpass, on October 27 at around 9:11 a.m.
Details remain limited, but authorities said a wheel detached from a vehicle and struck the male pedestrian.
The victim suffered life-threatening injuries and was rushed to an area hospital. On Wednesday morning, November 2, the MPD confirmed the patient had passed away.
At this time, no information regarding the driver of the involved vehicle has been released. No pending charges or citations have been reported.
