MILWAUKEE COUNTY, WI — A multi-vehicle accident Monday morning shut down southbound Interstate 41/U.S. Highway 45 near west Wauwatosa, according to TMJ4.
The Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office said the crash occurred on the southbound lanes at Watertown Plank Road, past Krauss-Miller-Lutz Outdoor Athletic Complex.
Few details have been released at this time, but the closure was projected to remain in place for at least two hours as authorities respond and work to clear the scene.
It was not immediately clear what caused the collision, how many vehicles were impacted, or whether anyone was seriously hurt.
