MILWAUKEE, WI — A man was hospitalized late Tuesday afternoon after being shot and crashing his vehicle into Lincoln Creek in northwest Milwaukee, according to TMJ4.
The wreck occurred off the intersection of North 35th Street and West Glendale Avenue, in the city’s Old North Milwaukee neighborhood. It was first reported shortly after 4:10 p.m., when a nearby resident who witnessed the crash alerted police.
Few details have been provided, but Milwaukee Police said the male driver was hit by gunfire moments before his car crashed and came to rest in the creek. The victim, who suffered serious injuries, was transported to a local hospital.
An investigation and search for unknown suspects remain underway.
