MILWAUKEE, WI — A vehicle wreck Tuesday afternoon blocked two center lanes on Interstate 43 near Milwaukee’s King Park neighborhood, according to TTWN Milwaukee.
The collision took place on the southbound interstate at West Highland Avenue, just northeast of Aurora Sinai Medical Center. It was first reported by TTWN at 3:50 p.m.
Few details have been released at this time, but traffic was backed up to Keefe Avenue at the time of the initial report.

The lanes remained closed until about 4:05 p.m. By then, the scene had been cleared to the right shoulder but the backup had extended down to Silver Spring Drive.

It was not immediately clear whether anyone was hurt.
