MILWAUKEE COUNTY, WI — A collision Thursday morning blocked two left lanes on Interstate 41/U.S. Highway 45 near southwest Wauwatosa, according to TTWN Milwaukee.
The crash impacted the southbound lanes after West Watertown Plank Road, west of the Children’s Wisconsin hospital. It was first reported by TTWN at 6:45 a.m.
Authorities have not disclosed the cause of the wreck or details on the parties involved, but by 7:10 p.m., traffic was back up to West Capitol Drive.

At 7:20 p.m., 35 minutes after the initial report, only the far left lane remained closed. By then, the backup had grown to West Hampton Avenue.
