MILWAUKEE, WI — A 40-year-old woman was fatally hit by a vehicle Thursday night while walking her dog in northwest Milwaukee’s Silverswan neighborhood, according to TMJ4.
The fatal incident occurred in the area of West Appleton Avenue and West Silver Spring Drive, north of Timmerman Airport. It was first reported ay about 11:05 p.m.
Few details have been released at this time, but Milwaukee Police said the driver who struck the woman fled the scene without stopping.
The victim died as a result of her injuries at the scene, confirmed authorities.
