MILWAUKEE, WI — Four people were hospitalized after a multi-vehicle wreck on North 76th Street in north Milwaukee, according to FOX 6 Milwaukee.

The collision occurred at the intersection with West Brown Deer Road, in the city’s Northridge Lakes area, shortly after 10:00 a.m.

A preliminary investigation indicates a 65-year-old male driver failed to stop at a red light at the intersection, causing his vehicle to strike a second vehicle. The impact of that crash then sent both vehicles into a third vehicle.

The causing driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital.

Officials said the 51-year-old male driver of the second vehicle, along with his 44-year-old and 32-year-old female passengers, also suffered non-fatal injuries. All victims were taken to an area hospital.

It was unclear whether anyone in the third vehicle was hurt.

At this time, no pending charges or citations have been reported.
