SHAWANO COUNTY, WI — A 19-year-old Stratford man has been identified as the driver who died Saturday night after a rollover crash on County Road C in Green Valley, reports WIFC.
The fatal accident happened on a dark span of the highway, west of County Highway S, at about 9:15 p.m.
Officials said the young man was driving eastbound on County Road C when he veered off the roadway. Moments later, the vehicle collided with an embankment along a driveway and flipped.
The victim died from his injuries at the scene, confirmed first responders.
An investigation remains ongoing.
