The fatal incident took place in the 1200 block of East Brady Street, near the intersection with North Franklin Place, at about 11:53 p.m.
Officials have released few details regarding the circumstances behind the event, but the pedestrian was in the roadway when he was hit.
First responders arrived to find the victim with “grave” injuries and rushed him to a local hospital. At about 4:48 p.m. Monday afternoon, Milwaukee Police confirmed the victim had died.
As of this writing, authorities have not yet located or arrested the driver. A description of the suspect vehicle has not been released.
