KENOSHA COUNTY, WI — A 33-year-old Mount Pleasant man died Tuesday evening after his motorcycle hit a car on County Highway South in south Somers, reports TMJ4.
The fatal wreck occurred near the intersection with County Highway H, at about 6:45 p.m.
According to the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department, a Honda Accord was heading eastbound on County Highway South. As its driver began to turn onto County Highway H, its passenger side was struck by a westbound Harley Davidson motorcycle.
The driver of the motorcycle died as a result of his injuries at the scene, confirms officials.
The driver of the Honda, who stayed at the scene and cooperated with authorities, was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
A second motorcyclist was also transported to a hospital with minor injuries suffered from a piece of the Honda’s flying debris.
No further details have been shared at this time, but an investigation by the KCSD remains ongoing.
