BROWN COUNTY, WI — A vehicle wreck late Monday afternoon closed a section of southbound Interstate 43 on Green Bay’s west side, according to 511 Wisconsin.
The collision took place on the southbound lanes at Exit 189 to Atkinson Drive. It was first reported by 511 at 4:16 p.m.

Officials did not say what led up to the wreck, but all southbound lanes were blocked in the area for more than 50 minutes.
By 5:07 p.m., the scene had been cleared and all lanes were reopened to traffic.
