MILWAUKEE, WI — A vehicle wreck late Sunday morning closed a left lane on Interstate 94 near the Johnson’s Woods neighborhood in west Milwaukee, according to TTWN Milwaukee.
The collision occurred on the eastbound interstate after Exit 307B to South Hawley Road. It was first reported by TTWN at 11:40 a.m.

It was unclear what caused the crash, but at the time of the report, a traffic backup had extended down to 84th Street.
The lane would remain blocked for about 30 minutes before the scene was moved to the right shoulder, where it would remain until at least 1:30 p.m., nearly two hours later.
