MILWAUKEE, WI — A 29-year-old man has been charged after a two-vehicle crash Friday, August 12, that claimed the life of another man in northwest Milwaukee, according to FOX6 Milwaukee.

The fatal collision occurred in the area of West Fond du Lac Avenue and West Congress Street, at about 8:00 p.m.

Court records indicate the 29-year-old man was driving a silver Charger at 94 miles per hour when he struck a white Cadillac near the intersection. Officials said the posted speed limit for the area is 35 mph.

The victim, who was driving the Cadillac, was rushed to a local hospital where he later died.

Both the driver of the Charger and his passenger, a 31-year-old man, were also taken to the hospital. The severity of their condition remains undisclosed, but they were listed in stable condition at the time of transport.

Officials said a bench warrant has been issued for the driver of the Charger, who has since been charged with second-degree reckless homicide. As of this writing, he is not in police custody and possibly still recovering at the hospital.
