MANITOWOC COUNTY, WI — A rollover crash involving a semi-truck Friday morning delayed traffic for nearly an hour on Interstate 43 near Maribel, reports FOX11 News.
The accident happened near Exit 164 to Wisconsin Highway 147 and County Road Z. It was first reported by the Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office at about 7:40 a.m.
Authorities did not share details on the cause of the wreck, but photos captured at the scene show the semi overturned on its driver’s side and at rest in a grassy area off the roadway. A heavy volume of packages can be seen spilled out from the top of the trailer.
It was unclear whether the driver or anyone else was injured.
By 8:50 a.m., the interstate had reopened to normal traffic.
