OCONTO COUNTY, WI — A 52-year-old Green Bay man was hospitalized early Sunday after a rollover collision on Wisconsin Highway 32 in the town of Maple Valley, reports Green Bay Press-Gazette.
The accident happened near 4 Towns Road, in an area 4 miles north of Gillett, at around 2:35 a.m.
A preliminary investigation indicates the man was driving northbound on WIS-32 when he passed another driver and was seen veering past the center line multiple times. Shortly after, his vehicle traveled into the southbound ditch and across 4 Towns Road before flipping onto its roof.
The driver suffered serious injuries and was transported by ambulance to HSHS St. Clare Hospital.
According to the Oconto County Sheriff’s office, the man received multiple citations, which includes his fifth or sixth Operating While Intoxicated offense.
At this time, criminal charges have not been filed.
