MARQUETTE COUNTY, WI — A male driver faces multiple charges after a multi-vehicle wreck last Friday that injured at least one person on Wisconsin Highway 23 in Packwaukee, reports We Are Green Bay.
The Marquette County Sheriff’s Office said they received multiple calls about the collision on August 5, shortly before 3:10 p.m.
A preliminary investigation indicates the man’s vehicle veered past the center line and collided with two other vehicles, causing one to overturn.
Authorities said the causing driver displayed signs of intoxication at the scene. He was arrested after a preliminary breath test yielded a result of .248.
At this time, the suspect faces one charge of “Injury by Intoxicated Use/Vehicle” and four counts of “Cause Injury/Operate While Under Influence.” He is expected to make his first court appearance on August 22.
