MILWAUKEE, WI — A man was hospitalized Thursday afternoon after being struck by a vehicle while riding a bicycle near Marquette University in west Milwaukee, according to TMJ4.
Milwaukee Police said the incident occurred at North 16th Street and West Clybourn Street, at around 12:30 p.m.
An early investigation indicates the cyclist was traveling southbound on 16th when he collided with a car, which was heading westbound on Clybourn on a green light.
The cyclist suffered life-threatening injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital. No updates on his condition have been released at this time.
Officials said the driver stayed after the crash and cooperated with an investigation.
