MILWAUKEE COUNTY, WI — A vehicle crash Tuesday morning shut down an Interstate 41 exit ramp near northwest Wauwatosa, according to 511 Wisconsin.
The accident occurred on the southbound offramp at Exit 43 to West Burleigh Street, near a large shopping center. It was first reported by 511 at 8:22 a.m.
Officials did not say what led up to the wreck or how many vehicles were involved, but all lanes on the ramp were blocked.

The closure remained in place for at least 10:22 a.m., two hours later, suggesting a serious collision and an extended response time.
