WAUPACA COUNTY, WI — Five people were hospitalized Thursday evening after a single-vehicle collision on Hillside Road in the Town of Union, according to WBAY.
The Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office said first responders arrived on the scene, east of Bridge Road, at around 9:00 p.m.
Officials said as a result of the wreck, two people were trapped in the vehicle and one other person was pinned under the wreckage.
In total, all five occupants in the vehicle were transported to an area hospital with undisclosed injuries.
An investigation by the WCSO remains in progress, but alcohol and speed are believed to have been factors in the accident.
