WAUKESHA COUNTY, WI — Four people were hospitalized Saturday afternoon after a crash involving a sedan and two motorcycles in west Pewaukee, reports TMJ4.
The Waukesha County Sheriff’s Office said the wreck occurred on a span of Interstate 94 under the Meadowbrook Road overpass. It was first reported shortly after 3:43 p.m.
According to authorities, a 24-year-old man was driving a sedan under the rain when he lost control of the vehicle. Moments later, the sedan collided with two motorcyclists under the bridge.
Medics transported four patients to a local hospital, where the extent of their injuries remain undisclosed.
A section of the interstate was shut down in the aftermath of the crash. By 7:30 p.m., nearly four hours later, only two eastbound lanes continued to be blocked,
At this time, the cause of the accident remains unclear.
