ADAMS COUNTY, WI — Three people died Monday afternoon after a two-vehicle accident on Wisconsin Highway 21 near northwest Friendship, according to We Are Green Bay.
The Wisconsin State Patrol said the fatal wreck occurred at the intersection with County Highway Z.
An early investigation found a Jeep Cherokee was traveling northbound on County Highway Z when it stopped at the intersection. As the Jeep slowly began entering WIS-21, it was struck by a semi-truck, causing the semi to veered off the roadway and overturn into a ditch.
Two occupants in the Jeep, a 74-year-old man and a 68-year-old woman, were killed. Both victims were from Lindenhurst, Illinois.
The driver of the semi, a 37-year-old man from Davie, Florida, also died as a result of his injuries.
