DODGE COUNTY, WI — Four people, including two children, were injured late Tuesday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash near northeast Beaver Dam, according to CBS58.
Dodge County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to the scene at County Road A and Ollinger Road, shortly before 4:30 p.m.
A preliminary investigation indicates a 52-year-old male driver in a Volkswagen was heading northbound on the highway when he stopped to make a left turn onto Ollinger Road. While waiting for southbound traffic to pass, the Volkswagen was rear-ended by a northbound Toyota driven by a 48-year-old woman.
Both drivers sustained only minor injuries, but two juvenile passengers in the Toyota, aged 11 and 14, suffered serious injuries. The 11-year-old patient was airlifted to UW Hospital in Madison while the 14-year-old was transported there by EMS.
No further information has been shared, but an investigation remains ongoing.
