JEFFERSON COUNTY, WI — One person had to be extricated Wednesday night after a vehicle crash on Wisconsin Highway 59 near east Palmyra, reports FOX6 Milwaukee.
Crews with Kettle Moraine Fire District responded with an engine to the scene near County Highway Z at about 7:15 p.m.
It was unclear what led up to the wreck, but firefighters had to perform a complex rescue extrication to safely remove an occupant, who was left trapped in the vehicle.
The patient, who suffered injuries considered non-life-threatening, was taken to Aurora Medical Center at Summit.
No other injuries have been reported and no other vehicles appear to have been involved.
At this time, officials have not released further information.
