MILWAUKEE COUNTY, WI — One person was hit by a driver Tuesday morning, causing a section of Wisconsin Highway 100 in West Allis to shut down, reports WISN.
First responders arrived at the scene near the highway’s (South 108th Street) intersection with West Lincoln Avenue, north of West Allis Center. The crash was first reported by WISN shortly before 8:30 a.m.
It was not immediately clear what led up to the collision, but the victim was rushed to a local hospital. No details on their condition have been released at this time.
The driver appeared to cooperate with responding officers at the scene. As of this writing, authorities have not indicated any arrests or pending charges.
An investigation remains underway.
