WAUKESHA COUNTY, WI — A 68-year-old West Allis man faces charges after a series of crashes early Tuesday that injured himself and two others in New Berlin, reports TMJ4.

New Berlin Police responded to the scene near South 124th Street and West Park Avenue shortly after 1:00 a.m.

According to authorities, the man was driving northbound when he veered into the southbound lane, where he struck a parked vehicle with a 46-year-old Greenfield man inside.

The striking vehicle then traveled off the roadway and onto the front lawn of a nearby bar and grill, where it hit a 59-year-old Brookfield man.

Police said all three men suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to a local hospital.

The West Allis man is expected to be charged for Operating While Intoxicated – Causing Great Bodily Harm by the Waukesha County District Attorney’s Office.
