MILWAUKEE, WI — A multi-vehicle collision Wednesday afternoon blocked two lanes on Interstate 43/94 near the Walker’s Point neighborhood in downtown Milwaukee, reports FOX6 Milwaukee.
The Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office said the wreck occurred on the new high rise bridge at West National Avenue, shortly before 2:00 p.m.
It was unclear what caused the accident, but three vehicles, including a truck and cars, were involved. The truck came to rest over the median, forcing authorities to close one lane in each direction during the response.
At this time, no one has been reported injured.
An investigation by the MCSO was underway.
