News: Motorcyclist dies weeks after striking deer on Tower Rd in Rockland

BROWN COUNTY, WI — A 60-year-old De Pere man has died weeks after a single-vehicle motorcycle accident Monday, July 4, in the town of Rockland, reports NBC26.

Deputies with the Brown County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene near 5408 Tower Road at about 5:00 a.m.

An early investigation indicates the man was driving a motorcycle northbound on the rural road when a deer entered his path, resulting in a crash. A local farmer alerted authorities after encountering the scene.

Deputies and first responders administered aid to the man before rushing him to a local hospital where he died Tuesday, July 26.

No further details have been disclosed, but an investigation by the BCSO remains ongoing.
