OCONTO COUNTY, WI — A 42-year-old Antigo man was fatally injured Sunday, July 10, in a motorcycle accident on U.S. Highway 41 in northeast Abrams, according to We Are Green Bay.
The Oconto County Sheriff’s Office said the fatal wreck occurred on the northbound highway near Falk Road at around 4:00 p.m.
A preliminary investigation indicates the man was riding a motorcycle northbound when he lost control of the bike and collided with the median.
Officials said the victim, who was the only rider on the bike, was ejected in the crash. He was rushed to a Green Bay hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.
No other vehicles were involved.
