WAUKESHA COUNTY, WI — An 84-year-old man died Sunday after a two-vehicle collision that injured three others on Wisconsin Highway 59 in Genesee, according to CBS58.
The Waukesha County Sheriff’s Office said the fatal accident occurred at Rockwood Trail.
An early investigation indicates a 34-year-old woman was driving a pickup truck westbound on the highway when she veered past the center line and entered the eastbound side. Moments later, she collided head-on with an oncoming van driven by the male victim.
The man died as a result of the crash, confirmed officials.
His female passenger, along with the driver and passenger of the pickup, all suffered non-life-threatening injuries. All three were transported to an area hospital.
A section of WIS-59 was shut down for five hours as an investigation was conducted.
No further information has been shared at this time, and no pending charges have been reported.
