MILWAUKEE, WI — A vehicle wreck Monday night closed all southbound lanes of Interstate 43/94 near Milwaukee’s Walker Square neighborhood, according to TTWN Milwaukee.
The accident occurred a the span of the southbound interstate between West National Avenue/Wisconsin Highway 59 and West Greenfield Avenue. It was first reported by TTWN at 9:25 p.m.
No details have been shared regarding the circumstances behind the crash, but drivers were warned of a traffic backup stretched down to Marquette Interchange.
