WAUKESHA COUNTY, WI — A vehicle wreck early Thursday evening closed a left lane on Interstate 94 near a large shopping center in east Delafield, according to 511 Wisconsin.
The accident occurred on the eastbound lanes at Exit 287 to Wisconsin Highway 83, near the Fairfield area. It was first reported by 511 at 5:15 p.m.

It was unclear what led up to the crash, but by 5:26 p.m., the scene had been moved to the median.
At 6:10 p.m., nearly an hour after the initial report, officials indicated the wreckage had been cleared from the roadway.
