MILWAUKEE, WI — Four people were hospitalized Monday afternoon after a rollover wreck involving a shooting victim in northwest Milwaukee, reports TMJ4.
According to Milwaukee Police, the events first unfolded in the 2300 block of North 15th Street, where a 26-year-old man was shot.
Officials said the victim was placed in a vehicle and being transported to a local hospital when the driver, a 54-year-old man, lost control. Moments later, the vehicle struck a pole and rolled, ejecting all its occupants.
The driver, the shooting victim and two female passengers aged 27 and 20 were all transported to a local hospital. All patients were being treated for serious injuries.
At this time, it remains unclear what led up to the shooting and what caused the crash, but an investigation was underway.
