WALWORTH COUNTY, WI — One person died Monday afternoon after a multi-vehicle collision involving 11 patients near the Town of Linn, according to CBS58.
Town of Linn Police responded to the scene near Wisconsin Highway 120 and County Highway B at about 2:23 p.m.
It was not immediately clear what led up to the accident, but officials said three vehicles were involved.
Of the 11 patients involved, nine were transported by ambulance to local hospitals and trauma centers. Authorities confirmed one person who had been taken to Froedtert Hospital later died from their injuries.
No further information has been made available at this time, but an investigation remains in progress.
