MILWAUKEE, WI — A woman died Sunday after a rollover collision on Interstate 43 near the Saveland Park neighborhood in Milwaukee’s South Side, according to CBS58.
The accident happened on the northbound lanes near West Howard Avenue. It was first reported by CBS58 on June 26 at 7:37 p.m.
Details remain limited at this time, but medics transported a female victim to a local hospital where she was later pronounced deceased by the Medical Examiner’s Office. Officials did not say whether the woman was the driver or a passenger in the vehicle.
Northbound ramps at West Howard Avenue and West Holt Avenue were shut down during the emergency response.
An investigation by the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office was underway.
