WAUKESHA COUNTY, WI — A collision Tuesday morning closed all northbound lanes of Interstate 43 near north Big Bend, according to TMJ4.
The accident impacted the northbound interstate at Exit 50 to Wisconsin Highway 164, near Big Bend Park and Ride. Shortly after the crash, the closure was put into place at about 6:00 a.m.
It was unclear what led up to the crash or how many vehicles were involved, but Wisconsin Department of Transportation cameras captured a heavy traffic backup in the area.
Shortly before 7:40 a.m., the scene had cleared from the roadway and all lanes had reopened.
No injuries have been reported as of this writing.
